Riding season delayed – please hold

By Paul Crowe

All available weather representatives are busy, to expedite your request, press 1 if you do not find 8 inches of fresh wet snow amusing, press 2 if the sound of snowblowers is getting old, press 3 if you needed 4 wheel drive to go to the store this morning, press 4 if your power went out due to the heavy wet snow, press 5 if all of these choices apply … I’m sorry, that is an invalid selection.

Update: That’s closer to 10 or 12 inches of heavy wet snow. The wonders of lake effect. What the plow left in my driveway, I don’t even want to talk about, but imagine snowblowing and shoveling a 4 foot deep pile of wet cement. And to think I was almost ready to put the snowblower away a few days ago. For those of you in warmer climates, enjoy it.
