Smartire tire monitor

By Paul Crowe

This technology has been around a while for cars but I didn’t know it was available for motorcycles. Smartire Systems has a tire pressure and temperature sensor for motorcycles that monitors both while you ride. The sensor is mounted inside the tire by using a band clamp on the wheel. Remount and rebalance, then install the digital display and you’re ready. Could be a nice early warning.
