Matt Hotch V Lux – wins again

By Paul Crowe

Matt Hotch's V LuxMatt Hotch once again takes all the marbles in the Biker Build Off. His V-Lux beat all comers and won the vote which was announced at the Hard Rock Cafe Friday night. His V-Lux, is a great display of creativity and it pays, too. He sold the bike for $225,000! I guess that covers the cost of the $15,000 rear wheel.

Almost forgot, they have the coverage tonight at 9PM on Discovery. And I’m sorry if I spoiled the surprise.

    Looks just like a chopper.

Well, … yeah, but it’$ a really nice chopper. Like I said when I first wrote about it, there is actually some interesting engineering involved. If you get a chance, check it out on the show. No, it probably doesn’t corner but the brake on the engine, the air suspension, the steamroller rear tire, it kinda works in a chopper sorta way. The picture doesn’t look as good as it does on the tube. In the end, it’s just a matter of taste and your mood when you see it.

Im pretty sure he was offered 1.2 million dollars for the bike… and declined.
