The World’s Fastest Indian movie

By Paul Crowe

They don't make enough movies like this. The World's Fastest Indian starring Anthony Hopkins, to be released first in New Zealand, then Australia. Don't know when it will get over here but I'll be waiting. From the site: Anthony Hopkins stars as Burt Munro, a man who never let the dreams of youth fade. After a lifetime of perfecting his classic Indian motorcycle, Burt set … [Read more...]

Classic Bike auction

By Paul Crowe

This classic bike auction looks like a nice one. It's an estate sale for a fellow that just kept buying and collecting, he never seemed to sell anything. Over 130 great vintage and classic motorcycles just as he left them, lots of parts, too. There's also old cars and tools, it's the kind of auction that makes a guy hold on to his wallet so he doesn't get carried away. Here's a … [Read more...]

Aluminum Norton Commando

By Paul Crowe

It seems Evan has been doing a lot of this over the years from the looks of things on his web site. This particular Norton has twin headlights, a see thru primary cover and four Brembo calipers up front, four and … [Read more...]

The swap meet was huge with everything from complete old bikes to the … [Read more...]

Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid Ohio

By Paul Crowe

Saw my first Scott Flying Squirrel today, in person. Lots of other great bikes, too. A Crocker, maybe a dozen Vincents, and on and on. Ducati had their special exhibit and a really neat Norton Commando with hand formed aluminum bodywork from a fellow by the name of Evan Wilcox. I'm a bit tired right now so I'll get the pictures up sometime tomorrow. Weather turned a bit damp … [Read more...]
