Aluminum Norton Commando

By Paul Crowe

Aluminum bodied Norton Commando by Evan WilcoxAluminum bodied Norton Commando by Evan Wilcox
Among the interesting motorcycles I noticed while at Vintage Motorcycle Days was this 1974 Norton Commando with all hand formed aluminum bodywork by Evan Wilcox. It seems Evan has been doing a lot of this over the years from the looks of things on his web site.

This particular Norton has twin headlights, a see thru primary cover and four Brembo calipers up front, four and six piston calipers not being available back then. I was unable to locate the owner of the bike when I was there so what you see is pretty much the information I have. Nice work!
