You couldn't ask for better weather, it was hot as it usually is but beautiful racing weather overall. Big crowd, new track records in every class, good stuff. Mat Mladin just ran away from everyone. We'll be off to the second half of the Mid Ohio week tomorrow for the AMA Honda Supercycle weekend. After Eric Bostrom won at Laguna Seca it will be neat to see the battle in Ohio. Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid Ohio

Saw my first Scott Flying Squirrel today, in person. Lots of other great bikes, too. A Crocker, maybe a dozen Vincents, and on and on. Ducati had their special exhibit and a really neat Norton Commando with hand formed aluminum bodywork from a fellow by the name of Evan Wilcox.
