We've pointed out off road Sportsters before and this one looks ready for dirt duty complete with knobby tires and long travel suspension. Bob, one of our regular readers, was cruising the Interwebs and spotted this one in Japan. There are only a few photos and a walk around video with a couple of fellows speaking Japanese, but it looks capable of taking the road less traveled. … [Read more...]
Tony Foale Heading Back to Spain
A couple of years ago, I mentioned Tony Foale moved to the U.S. to take a position at Segway as Director of Product Engineering. Tony tells me he wrapped up his work there a couple of months ago and is heading back home to Spain. Despite my inquiry, he wouldn't tell me what they were working on in the Segway skunkworks, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. If you talk … [Read more...]

Ghraydon's family has a … [Read more...]
Roland Sands Design Mission 200
Just flipping through the November Motorcyclist and saw a short reference to the latest project from Roland Sands. It's called Mission 200 and the simple purpose is to take a Victory Hammer and run it up over the 200mph mark. They took off the forward controls and mounted rearsets, then grafted a fairing from one of Roland's old 250cc GP bikes, added a steering damper, wheels, … [Read more...]
