Airbagvest Website Scam?

By Paul Crowe

Hit Air airbag motorcycle vestA while back we mentioned the hit-air airbag jacket distributed by Mugen Denko Co., Ltd. of Japan, the North American distributor is Airprotek International, Inc. From all indications, it’s a great product.

Unfortunately, someone else thought so, too, and they “borrowed” the idea and set up a website with pictures of a hit-air jacket where they’re ready to take your money but, they’re not associated with hit-air in any way. Hit-air has notices all over their site saying the airbagvest site is a phony and illegal website and the people involved are not distributors of hit-air. The registration info for airbagvest is private so it is not clear who is behind it.

Last year, a company called Airvest, ran a scam collecting cash while the promoters had a party before ending up behind bars. Is airbagvest doing the same thing? We don’t know but you may want to steer clear of the airbagvest website and keep your cash in your wallet while the legal folks get things straightened out.

Airbagvest does appear to be a scam. Please inform anybody you know of that might be interested in a airbag vest ofr jacket to steer clear of the Airbagvest website.
