2005 Mert Lawwill Street Tracker with Really Low Miles

By Paul Crowe

Mert Lawwill Street Tracker with under 10 miles

Every now and then one of the few Mert Lawwill Street Trackers comes up for sale and when they do, it’s an opportunity to acquire something very special According to this seller, it’s one of nineteen made and I think that’s about right. It only has 10 miles on it, so it’s practically new.

Lawwill started with a stock Sportster and then tossed most of it, building almost an entirely new frame along with the unique dual swing arm, single shock rear suspension. The completely new heads swap the intake and exhaust ports so the pipes exit left like an XR750. The engine is 1400cc with MegaCycle cams, Excel rims and spokes and Brembo brakes on Maxxis tires, the list goes on and on.

New, they were $37,000, this one has a buy it now price of $28K, which sounds like a pretty sweet deal. They’re not making any more of these, so you might want to take a serious look. There’s no telling if or when another will come along.

It’s for sale on eBay. Listing has ended. Did not meet reserve. Biding ended at $22,100.00.

Here’s the previous Kneeslider article on a Mert Lawwill Street Tracker, it has a little bit more detail:

Here’s Mert talking about the design:

I like the double (quadruple?) swing arm design.
