Many of us have a lot of fond memories of old motorcycle ads, (remember the Norton girls?) whether of our favorite vintage motorcycle from back in the day or just a favorite ad you remember that brings back a flood of old memories. I happen to have a sizable
stack of old motorcycle mags research library, filled with old motorcycle advertisements that I’m sure many of you will remember. I sprinkle these old ads throughout The Kneeslider, because I think they look pretty neat but, for the most part, you can’t see the details or read the ad.
Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of requests to see these ads in larger sizes so you can read the words and just remember when. From time to time I’ll put one of these out here so you can check it out. If you have a particular ad you remember but haven’t seen for a while, let me know, there’s a very good chance I have it. The images here are not big enough to print in a large size, as some of you would like, but I may make those available, too. In the meantime, here’s ad number 1, a Norton ad presented here for no other reason than to show you what we saw 40 years ago as we flipped through our favorite magazines. Enjoy!
