New Version of Blender 3D Software Released

By Paul Crowe

3D image created in Blender by Zoltan MiklosiAre you ready to design the next generation of motorcycles, your head filled with ideas but you’re a wee bit short of cash for a top shelf commercial program? Blender is the answer and it doesn’t skimp anywhere. Blender is full strength and ready to take on any design project you might have. Those ideas of yours that will stun the world can now be rendered. Of course, this isn’t a sit down and turn out professional results in minutes software either, this requires as much up front learning and effort as any other mainstream program, but the results are limited only by the user, … that would be you.

They have just released a new version and a new website, too, where you can look through the gallery of projects to get an idea of what can be done. Very impressive.

Blender is extremely good, I would recommend anybody who wants to design digitally to check it out, they also have a great forum to provide feedback.
