Motorcycle display cases

By Paul Crowe

Motorcycle display caseFor the guy who has everything, here are display cases for your motorcycle. Made out of oak, plywood or PVC, depending on which model you choose, they keep your bike all cozy and free from the fingerprints of the little anklebiters just waiting to rest their greasy fingers on your spotless paint. I’m not sure these would be of much use during riding season but they might be nice over the winter or perfect for all of those classic bikes you have stashed away as investments. (Yeah, I wish!) They can be outfitted with all sorts of options including ramps, air conditioning, fire suppression, alarms, you know, all of the things the well equipped storage case is supposed to have. The deluxe versions seem to be a bit pricey, $7450 for the big oak version, but when you have a lot of bikes that deserve this sort of storage you probably can drop that kind of money without thinking about it. When I look at them I think with the right tools I could build my own. Their target market is probably a lot like the amphibious RV crowd. “Jeeves, would you uncase the Indian for my ride today?” “Certainly, Sir.”

That is more like a glass coffin than a display case. I will put my bike in a display case once I am dead.
