More motorcycle powered cars

By Paul Crowe

Tiger Z100 by Z CarsSeveral times I’ve mentioned the shops building cars powered by motorcycle engines because the engines are just so powerful and their size so compact. I dropped by Z Cars and now I notice their Tiger Z100WR that is powered by two ZX12R engines and manages 0-60 in a mere 2.9 seconds. That’s as fast or faster than most bikes. The plain old Z100 uses two ZX9 engines so it only does 0-60 in 3.11. I like the engineering and the looks, like the Caterham or old Lotus. Bet it’s one helluva lot of fun.

only one engine, but the gearbox they use reverses the 6 speed hayabusa tranny when backwards travel is required…they managed to find someone to do top speed testing in reverse and got over 100 mph! scary!
