Monster Garage

By Paul Crowe

Surprised again. Last night I saw the tail end of American Rodder which looked really good, Boyd Coddington picked his 10 favorite rods, and they were really nice, and right after that was Monster Garage. That show has been way out there for some time with weird projects and last night they built, of all things, a motorcycle! A group of long time builders got together and chopped a Harley. Either they’re listening to what we’re saying or someone decided to get back to something a little more realistic. I think I remember someone saying during the build it should be a project someone could build in their own garage. Now there’s an idea, do something a person can possibly relate to. They mixed in a little personality profile here and there but overall it was far more focused on the bike. No flying cars, a real motorcycle. Is this a trend? I sure hope so.
