Texas Hardtails reality TV

By Paul Crowe

Looks like the Speed Channel is getting into chopper reality shows, I guess they saw one too many American Choppers and said, "Hey, we can do that, too." The new show, Texas Hardtails, is based at Rick Fairless' Strokers Dallas. Rick has quite an operation building choppers, selling bikes, parts and apparel and he runs Strokers Ice House, a combination restaurant and bar. … [Read more...]

Erie Bike Night

By Paul Crowe

Had a chance to walk around bike night in Erie, PA yesterday. Turnout was moderate but it's early in the season in this area. A few interesting bikes out like the Honda Scrambler shown here but for the most part, far too many Harleys. One fellow riding by had yellow Tomahawk tires on his Yamaha which was dressed in a MotoGP paint scheme. Haven't seen many of the colored tires … [Read more...]

Of course that's like carbon dating to find out how old something is because the show was on in 1969, probably before some of you were born but I'll also bet a lot of you do remember it. It was on for one season, 26 episodes, and if you did watch it you probably remember the theme song, at least … [Read more...]

Rider Radio

By Paul Crowe

With all of the success of motorcycle shows on TV, it was only a matter of time before someone thought of a way to get a show on the radio. Michael Wozniak, member of the San Francisco MH900e club, will be the host of this 2 hour program. RiderRadio is a fast-paced, two-hour, caller-driven radio talk show that will appeal to the wide cross section of those with interest in … [Read more...]
