Reevu rearview motorcycle helmet

By Paul Crowe

Motorcycle helmets offer great protection in the event of a accident but they are becoming an integral part of the riding experience. The SportVue heads up display we previously mentioned is one item allowing a rider to view speed and engine rpm without taking his eyes off the road and now here is the Reevu motorcycle helmet, a helmet with an integrated rear view mirror system … [Read more...]

Michelin Airless motorcycle tires

By Paul Crowe

Michelin has been working on their Tweel for some time now which is a tire and wheel ("tweel", get it?) technology that needs no air. They also have an airless tire that mounts on a separate wheel but uses plastic bands for the sides in place of the normal sidewall. Wheels4Tots – motorcycle training wheels

By Paul Crowe

The missing Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda and Triumph Daytona motorcycles were valued at $117,000. All but two were parked overnight outside apartment complexes, reports show. Investigators suspect … [Read more...]

By Paul Crowe

The Hit-Air airbag motorcycle jacket, we wrote about back in May of this year, is coming to the US as the result of an agreement with Airprotek International. The Hit-Air jacket is manufactured in Japan, is available in a wide variety of styles and looks like one of those ideas someone should have come up with a long time ago. The jacket's internal airbag is inflated instantly … [Read more...]
