Honda concept motorcycles – E4-01, NP6-D

By Paul Crowe

Is this the future of motorcycling? The E4-01 is one of the concept motorcycles Honda will have on display in the upcoming Tokyo show later this month. I'm not sure how to take this, it's a nice looking scooter I guess but their future bikes seem to have that all enclosed and powered by a fuel cell look to them. Something a little more sporty would be nice. These are supposed … [Read more...]

Suzuki Boulevard M109R

By Paul Crowe

Suzuki has introduced a new Suzuki Boulevard in the hefty 109 cubic inch (1783cc) size. This bike must be made of some super exotic unobtanium material though because their website spec says it weighs 395 pounds dry, that must be freeze dried crystals since other cruisers are in the 600 pound category. (I wonder how long it will take them to correct that) Actually the typo … [Read more...]

Suzuki Stratosphere

By Paul Crowe

Gaijin Biker confirms the existence of a bike I've been a little hesitant to mention, the Suzuki Stratosphere, an inline 6 cylinder concept with automatic shifting no less. The photos floating about had the appearance of Photoshop but it seems this is a "real concept," hmm..., think about that for a moment. Anyway, it displaces 1100cc and looks like the 21st century version of … [Read more...]

Tilting Vehicle concept

By Paul Crowe

Here we have one Phillip James, an Australian of considerable self taught technical skill, who has built a prototype tilting vehicle that drives like a car, tilts like a motorcycle and looks very stable. With a bit of work, this could be one helluva vehicle. He's applied for a patent which is a good thing because I think a lot of other guys are going to try to build something … [Read more...]

Harley Davidsons from Japan

By Paul Crowe

With all of the chopper shops in the U.S., it's fascinating to find some of the most creative work based on Harley Davidsons being done in Japan. Many of you are probably familiar with Shinya Kimura of Zero Engineering. He participated in the Biker Build Offs and won many admirers of his unique view of what he considers the proper chopper. Sundance Enterprises is another … [Read more...]

Scorpa 4Tricks

By Paul Crowe

Coming on the heels of my post the other day about the RevoPower Wheel, here's another machine, the Scorpa 4Tricks, that's a cross between a BMX bike and a trials bike. It has a 70cc 4 stroke engine, 3 speed tranny and 20 inch wheels. It looks just like and is the same size as a BMX bike, just like the ones the kids are jumping and stunting only this one has no pedals. It … [Read more...]
