Motorcycles from China

By Paul Crowe

Chinese motorcycles are coming, whether or not anyone is ready for them. Those soft sales figures many manufacturers have been reporting may be a sign of things to come if the Chinese have their way. China offers an enormous market for anything you might be selling but tariffs on imported goods make selling into that market extremely challenging if not impossible. The potential … [Read more...]

Is there a Suzuki pattern here?

By Paul Crowe

If you are following the World Superbike championship, you might notice a strange similarity to the AMA Superbikes. Troy Corser is dominating and he is riding a GSX-R1000. Corser won this weekend's doubleheader much like Mladin over here. By Paul Crowe

Looks like they better rethink the capacity of those models, they only go to 750hp. Yeah, ... only. Next year, they might come up short. The Kneeslider: Suzuki Hayabusa for sale … [Read more...]

Motorcycle Design book

By Paul Crowe

This is the new paperback version of a really good book mentioned back when we were talking about a sportbike buildoff. They have the table of contents and some of the pages online so you can get an idea of what's in it. With most new sportbikes, you have so many … [Read more...]
