Race number two at Barber today was another start to finish lead for Mat Mladin, just like yesterday. He led every lap of both Superbike races, yesterday and today! Hodgson was second. It’s beginning to look like the Suzuki GSXR1000 is more bike than any of the others by just a little bit. Combine that with Mladin’s skill and it could be a long season for the other riders. Hodgson’s Ducati didn’t seem to have quite the drive or turn in of the Suzuki’s. The Honda’s are developing this year so they have their work cut out for them. But still, when all is said and done, Mat Mladin is beginning to look like the AMA Superbike version of Rossi in MotoGP.
