PGMV8 motorcycle from Australia

It looks like the Aussies have built a beautiful new V8 motorcycle, the PGMV8. Builder Paul G Maloney, assembled his team, drawn from the shops of World Superbike, MotoGP, Formula One and various other design and racing environments and, starting in 2008, created this impressive 1996cc, 90 degree V8 engine and placed it in a package that, filled with fluids, comes in at 534 … [Read more...]

If you've been following along as new technologies advance, you already know 3D printing is heavily hyped. The ragged edge is that perfect balance between control and chaos, taking … [Read more...]

It seems Harley had some big ideas, and I know I would have given … [Read more...]

I'm actually surprised, I thought the Hero partnership had placed them on solid footing, … [Read more...]

Harley Davidson V4 Engine Prototype Photos

By Paul Crowe

Harley Davidson V4 engine prototype

In 2007, we wrote about the Harley Davidson Nova V4 engine project from way back in the mid 1970s. AMF owned Harley in those years and decided a V4 wasn't a profitable venture so they killed it. Then, in 2009, there were rumors of a new Harley V4 project. This one was supposedly around 1600cc, with a 72 degree V angle and output around 170 horsepower. Cycle World in May of 2009 … [Read more...]
