Doers Builders and Positive People

Matt Hotch Vinnie – Vincent Powered Custom

By Paul Crowe

The last time I checked up on Matt Hotch, two time Biker Build Off champion, he had just built the V-Lux, a custom styled in the wide tire and chrome tradition that's been popular with builders for some time. Checking up again shows he's moved quite a distance away from the heavy chrome show bike style to this much, much more pleasing bike that looks like you could ride it all … [Read more...]

2007 Campagna T-Rex 1400

By Paul Crowe

The Campagna T-Rex has been getting a lot more press recently and now that they've dropped a 187 hp Kawasaki 1400cc engine in it, I can see why. Of course, Pro Stock does allow some pretty radical one off engines as long as they fit the displacement … [Read more...]

Brian Case, Confederate's chief of design, pointed me to an article in the LA Times where they ran prototype number four through a short road test. Although Confederate would have preferred using a production model, the Times was a bit impatient so the prototype was used instead with somewhat … [Read more...]

Big Bear Miss Behavin Chopper for Women

By Paul Crowe

Big Bear Choppers of Big Bear Lake, California, has decided to address the problem of women not being able to find a chopper that fits their slightly smaller stature. A little while back we asked women riders what they wanted when they were looking for a motorcycle and more than a few said they needed a bike that fits, a bit shorter, a bit lower, something they could be … [Read more...]
