Bourget Shredder Small Block Chevy Powered Quad

By Paul Crowe

Bourget's Bike Works produced a new quad for the SEMA show that runs this week in Las Vegas. Called the Shredder F-80, Bourget will be building as many as 25 per year at the rather healthy price of $90,000. It's powered by a 425 horsepower, small block 383 fast burn Chevy engine mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Tires all around are 17 inch Avon 330 rear tires with … [Read more...]

VMAX Awakens Need 6

By Paul Crowe

In Yamaha's extremely long lead up to their new V-Max, they had a display at the Tokyo Motor Show titled "The VMAX Awakens Need 6." There was a highly stylized video with a rear tire smoking and a 3D profile artwork of a new V-Max, or rather, parts of the bike in a semi assembled state. I found a video and grabbed these screenshots from a Japanese website showing the Tokyo … [Read more...]

Megelli Motorcycles looks like it is planning to break free of that image with 3 offerings in the … [Read more...]

No Haggle Dealer Pricing is Growing

By Paul Crowe

There's a small but growing movement among car dealers to a no haggle policy. Instead of going in and enduring the back and forth nonsense dealers are known for, the price is set and that's that. No more, "I have to get approval for this" or "I'll see if my manager will go along with this." Wouldn't that be nice? Every other retail store we go into has a price on items for sale … [Read more...]
