Greasecar – why not greasebike?

By Paul Crowe

Despite the life threatening dangers of biodiesel, here is a neat system that will get your diesel powered car on the road with a fill up at the back door of your local greasy spoon. If they could make it a little smaller, diesel motorcycles could use it as well. Take straight vegetable oil and this kit and you're off. I think this is very cool. If I was driving a diesel, I'd … [Read more...]

Build your own motorcycle, from scratch

By Paul Crowe

When you watch a TV show like Build or Bust, you see a lot of parts coming off the shelf and being bolted together. Sure, they do some metal shaping and welding but there's a lot of buying going on, too. American Chopper is another place where there is always some crisis when a part doesn't arrive on time. High miles per gallon is nice but people buy for other reasons. … [Read more...]

Team press release: 1993 MotoGP World Champion Kevin Schwantz will be returning to AMA road-racing at Road America this weekend aboard the Team EMGO Taiwan, Formula Xtreme, Suzuki GSX-R 600. Schwantz will be subbing for Chris “Opie” Caylor … [Read more...]
