Motorcycle tricycles

By Paul Crowe

What's the deal with trikes? I have to admit, I simply do not understand them. Sidecars are interesting but for the most part they can be removed and the original two wheel motorcycle can be regained. Some motorcycles are specifically manufactured to be sidecar rigs so that is not always the case, but for the most part, they're a removable addition. Trikes, on the other … [Read more...]

Kawasaki confirms ER-6n

By Paul Crowe

Photos of the new Kawasaki ER-6n began popping up on the Internet the other day and Kawasaki has confirmed its existence. It has a fuel injected parallel twin displacing 649cc, a monoshock rear suspension and styling that takes a jump forward from older models. Better yet, get out and ride or give your bike some garage time and … [Read more...]

By Paul Crowe

Read an interesting article in Bike magazine about MotoGP on its way to becoming boring because it's too technical, from a machinery point of view. With ever increasing computer control of everything on the bike, we won't see the riders wrestling the machines to do their bidding but instead we'll see slick machines, carving around the track with much of the difference between … [Read more...]
