Racing autorickshaws with flame paint! For some, the challenge is a race like the Baja 1000 or perhaps the Paris Dakar Rally, but to the truly adventurous, there is the Indian Autorickshaw Challenge, this year with a route covering 1191 miles in 13 days, it literally defines extreme sport. Should you decide to take part, you'll be driving a race prepared 145cc, 7 horsepower, single cylinder two stroke autorickshaw, capable of speeds in excess of 30 mph. Driving and navigational skills are prized in this cross country event. Only the best of the best will finish.

Think you're up to it? Visit the official Indian Autorickshaw website and register, then begin training today.

I’ve driven one of the four stroke ones, and I can’t imagine doing 1000 miles over rough terrain on one.

It ain’t the first time the race is going down. Yet the 1000 miler is a first… Come and be part of a Guinness book record. Great fun and adventure guaranteed.
