It’s been an interesting year. I try to reserve the word “interesting” for those times when a lot of challenges occur, and this year, for me personally and for a lot of you, too, interesting is the perfect description. I find this annual break during the end of year holiday season to be the right time to recharge and reflect, to see what went right, what went wrong and then make plans for the year ahead.
However you spend your holidays, whether it’s with family or friends, whether home or away, I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a positive and successful New Year.

Bruce Hollingshead says
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too. I always find your sight more interesting than some of the others, whom are afraid to look out side the world of motorcycling for story ideas. I could use more frequent posts though.

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to Paul, who does an exemplary job of providing an inspiring site that is unique on the web, and to all of my motorcycling friends here that enjoy this wonderful site along with me.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to you.I want to tell you how very much I enjoy and look forward to your site.Although I ride less every year, and also a bit more cautiously, after 48 years of riding every year, I am still very interested in the world of riding and since magazines have become little more than a booklet of ads I rely on my computer for my news. This is my go to blog. My favorite articles this year ,Aniket’s amazing V twin and updates on the Buell based Bott tracker. Thanks again for a year filled with motorcycle news.,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Cleveland OH, Paul.
Happy Holidays to all that read TheKneeslider.com, too. Spread the word among your riding friends and family. During our recent Thankgiving together, my brother-in-laws and I were playing with my sister’s new I-Pad and I introduced them to Aniket Vardham’s Musket project from your archives. They are now fans of the site as well.

Paul, the very best of Christmases to you and the family. Your site is an inspiration to all of us as is your skill as a webmaster. From the fact that you have readers from around the world is testimony to your skill at finding “interesting” subjects on such a regular basis.
This writer hails from Surrey, BC (a bit south of Vancouver) and I see my good friend Oldyeller has beaten my to posting …. again. BTW – He’s faster than I am but, since I’m now in my 61st year of riding, I’ve been doing it longer than he has!
My greatest hope for all of us in the New Year is good health. I wish you all many happy journeys as we wend our way through our lives.
Thank you, Paul.

Paul –
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and THANK YOU from Chicago.
The Kneeslider is my daily reminder of how much I love motorcycles, fixing things and finding solutions that keep me on the road. In middle-age, with two kids, an adult job and so many roads unridden, you provide me with the spark that someday, in the future, I will turn back into a fire of two-lane roads, long rides and stupid destinations.
Thank You,
Steve Timble

All the best … keep up the good work.

It is difficult to decide what it is I like best about the Kneeslider: the fact that the site is about motorcycles, or …. the fact that Paul uses the technical aspect of our beloved two-wheelers as a springboard for the much broader concept of doing for ourselves, with our own hands and tools. That has been a constant inspiration to me, and I’m already way into the maker thing. Please keep up the great work!
The very best wishes of the season to Paul and all of my fellow Kneesliders!
Mike

A belated Merry Christmas and a peaceful 2013 from suddenly-winter Chicago! Thank you, Paul, for providing this excellent site for all us bikeheads to share and air our views, and learn so much new information, but mostly for giving us a community and new friends!
Wishing everyone all good things, happy riding and rubber always on the pavement!

All the best to Paul and all the posters who make this site so interesting and rational. Here in the Northwest we have several days of clear, cold weather ahead. Time to fire up, plug in and ride!
