Technical Updates on The Kneeslider

By Paul Crowe

We’re in the midst of some long overdue technical updates on The Kneeslider and you may notice some things are missing or moved. Don’t worry, everything is fine. It may take a little while to get everything completely sorted, but we’ll be back up to full speed before long.

UPDATE: Still more work to do, but you’ll notice we now have threaded comments!! Yay!! If you want to respond to a particular comment, just hit “reply” directly below it and your comment will appear there. No more starting your comment with something to let everyone know who you are referring to. I know, long overdue, but better late than never.

UPDATE 2: Most of the major pieces are in place, though there is still much to do. If you run across something completely broken, let me know so I can have a look. There’s even more planned going forward, but I need to make sure each step is functional before adding anything else. Thanks for your patience during the upgrade process.

Now it will be even easier for people to tell me I don’t have a right to my opinion. I would rather people stick to commenting on the topic.

Paul, your skills with this website never ceases to amaze. I wish I was 50 years younger to learn about this stuff too.

Even aside from the technical, your content makes the site a “Must Visit” every day.

    Thank you ….

Thank you very much for this update. Finally the site renders correct in Firefox under OS X.

    Keep up the good work!

Yep, that was another issue fixed.

This may be being addressed, however my biggest area of annoyance is the inability to sort searches by date or importance. This inability makes finding things quite frustrating.
