Red Gladiator by Hot Dock Custom Cycles of Japan placed 3rd in this year’s AMD World Championship. A lot more conventional than either Hulster 8 Valve or Chicara Art Two, it displays some very nice craftsmanship and attention to detail. I think the filler caps are pretty neat, they look like little bank vault doors with locking rods.
The engine is a Harley Davidson but the builder, Keiji Kawakita, added 4 valve heads and his own custom fuel injection. Big twin power with performance potential. Now if that frame was a bit more sporty …
Overall, it’s a bit too shiny for my personal taste, but these are show bikes, after all, so chrome and bright paint is expected. The rear tire is still wide but check the angle of the front end, looks like this bike is supposed to work like a real motorcycle, no super long, stretched out nonsense. Pretty interesting.

The swingarm is a little too busy, but I like the overall concept because it’s looks like a nice ridable seating position, and has a dirt track feel to it.
