Chicara Art Two 2007 AMD World Championship – 2nd

By Paul Crowe

Chicara Art 2 by Chicara Nagata - 2007 AMD World Championship 2nd Place

Chicara Nagata of Chicara Motorcycles came in second this year at the AMD World Championship after winning last year. Chicara Art Two is a flathead powered chrome covered custom that continues the narrow tire theme also used by the winner, Hulster 8 Valve.

Chicara Art 2 is not what I would call a rideable motorcycle, the rider position is pretty extreme, the small headlight is not mounted for functional use but he certainly shows some great craftsmanship. The front suspension is pretty interesting, he also uses a single shock rear setup. I like the engine.

Do you notice a trend to narrow tires here?

Looks like the speedway racing genre is the new thing . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Colac_Herald.jpg

Although I consider this unridable, or atleast a complete nut buster, I like the looks. I’m also a vintage BMX enthusiast and with the chrome frame and single crown fork it has that look.

I think that this is an amazing bike. For someone like me who is into the extreme vintage boardtrack look this bike is awesome. One of my favorites, up there with bike from Goldammer, and Fred Krueger.
