OK, it’s not just a motorcycle security camera but that’s one good use for it. This camera is solar powered so you don’t have to plug it in to any other power source and it transmits wirelessly, so there’s no need for any cabling. It has a motion sensor that senses motion up to 26 feet away and it transmits images to a receiver almost 250 feet away.
If you park your motorcycle somewhere you can’t see it all the time, this might be an answer. If you can find a good spot with sunlight to mount the camera, you’re done. No power, no cables, just aim the camera and sensor toward the area you want to watch, set up the receiver and if someone’s moving around where they shouldn’t be, the camera turns on.
It doesn’t work in complete darkness but if your bike is in a parking lot that’s well lighted, it might do the job around the clock. Of course, you can get motion sensing lights, too. That would work. Lots of motorcycles get stolen from apartment parking lots and you probably can’t run all sorts of cables through your apartment building, but if you can mount this camera somewhere convenient to your bike’s location, you may prevent that sick feeling of going to where your bike was only to find it missing.
