Mission One TTXGP Racer in Race Colors

By Paul Crowe

The Mission One electric TTXGP race bike was unveiled in full race colors yesterday. One more for the lineup. Everyone has been keeping the final look of their respective bikes under wraps but they’re all showing up now. The Mission One racer looks pretty good and quite a bit different than the images of the tentative production street version.

    It sure looks the part.
I can’t wait to see what kind of times the top TTXGP bikes can put down. Any guesses?
    – we could do a top time pool here?

Yes, The bike looks much better in race trim, I think the strange looks of the proto was to get attention and generate buzz. This version looks the Bizz!!! P.S. love the Durecell color scheme.

I actually like the concept body work that was rendered before . I’m sure it wasn’t the best aerodynamic shape for the job but it was unique , clean and elegant.

I’m with Ry. The production version looks like nothing else on wheels, while the racer is stuck with generic bodywork. I wonder what the difference in lap times would be just accounting for aero?

Looks great in race trim, but I have to agree with Ry and SpaceWeasel, the design of the prototype was certainly engaging, very modern, yet imbued with a classic beauty.

Correction – they started first, didn’t finish first – oops.
