Veterans of The Kneeslider will remember the articles we had about Pete Larsen’s Cycle Car, built to be a modern update to the Morgan 3 Wheeler. It was so good, in fact, that Morgan bought it from Pete and the Morgan 3 Wheelers now sold from the factory are based on Pete’s design. Well after all of that, Pete didn’t sit in front of the TV with a bag of chips, he went back to work and he came up with, well, hit the video and listen to the engine sing while you get a pilot’s eye view. This is a man with highly developed design and building skills. This is a three wheeler done right.
More to come …

Great Scott that’s beautiful. I love electric drivetrains that that sounds magnificent.

That sounds great and looks like it might look great too. I love the flat-six sound, that’s why I installed a Subaru 3.3 flat-six in my Westfalia camper van. It sounds just like this. I wouldn’t mind building me on of these too but I don’t have much use for cars.

Very cool. Black Diamond-area road?

That is fantastic!
Mid-mount Goldwing engine makes a lot of sense.
In fact this vehicle as a whole seems like a more suitable use of a Goldwing engine than the bike itself. It has so much excess capacity in the bike.

Kudos to Pete Larsen’s latest rendition of rolling art. As a retread rider returning to motorcycle with a recent acquisition of a pristine ’98 Honda Valkyrie, its tempting to think of offering it up as a guinea pig as the high price for Liberty!
BTW, Morgan just recently unveiled their next generation 3-Wheeler with the Super-3 and I’d be curious about Pete Larsens’s take on Morgans development? For me the ACE derived/ S&S powered 3-Wheeler was definitely more in keeping with a motorcycle where as the next gen skews (w/Ford 3 cylinder) more automobile. I wonder if Morgan consider using the Triumph Rocket-3 powerplant?
