LeMans MotoGP

By Paul Crowe

Now this is racing! Rossi had a bad start and found himself in 6th while Colin Edwards had first with Nicky Hayden close behind which looked good for the Americans. They held those positions for some time until Rossi made up the distance and passed Nicky for second. Sete Gibernau was running a fast pace and began passing everyone. It soon became Edwards, Rossi and Gibernau running really fast until Edwards made a little mistake, ran just a tad wide and found himself in third place. The remaining laps with Rossi leading Gibernau were spectacular as Gibernau was very close but couldn’t quite do it. Rossi’s last lap was the fastest of the race, setting a new record. Absolutely superb! For those of you who are lucky enough to be out in California I would imagine you’ll want to make sure to be at Laguna Seca to see these guys race in the States.
