Lazareth Roadster V6

Here is another jaw dropping motorcycle from Ludovic Lazareth in France. I just posted about motorcycle engine powered cars the other day, here’s a car engine powered motorcycle. I can’t take my eyes off of this. Over here someone stuffs a big V8 into a bike like the Boss Hoss and you get something enormous and ungainly. Lazareth put a Mazda V6 into this roadster and you get a sportbike! It’s in the spirit of the Munch Mammuts. Look at this!

The 1800cc Mazda MX3 V6 is mounted transverse in the custom tube frame and mated to a Harley five speed transmission. Both front and rear custom machined wheels are mounted single sided and the disc brakes are outboard on the wheel rims. Look closely and you’ll see 6 exhaust pipes tucked undertail with 3 pipes per side. The bike is loaded with custom machine work, check the casings around the engine. It’s gorgeous! When I wrote about biker build offs doing something different, this is what I meant.

If the Roadster V6 wasn’t enough, he also has two other new bikes on his site, the Honda V800, powered by a Honda VFR engine and the Dokujya, (I have no idea what it means) powered by a VTR V-twin engine with a supercharger from a Mini Cooper S! Both of these need their own post but there’s a limit to my room here. Just go there and check them out for yourself.

Note to custom bike builders: Check out Lazareth before starting your next project, instead of more of the same, begin with a clean sheet and fresh ideas.
