KTM Planning 2 Seat Automobile

By Paul Crowe

KTM is a company on the move. We just mentioned their new 63 horsepower single, they have also announced they will be bringing the 990 Super Duke to the U.S. beginning February of 2007 and now they are going into the automotive business.

The plan is to make a 2 seat open roadster powered by a 250 horsepower 4 cylinder engine from VW. The car will be produced in partnership with Italian Formula-sport specialist Dallara. They hope to sell about 1000 per year at a price around 35,000 Euros.

Various computer concept images are floating around but nothing official yet.

KTM, VW, BMW, MuZ or Kymco makes no difference to me, I want that GX-3 so bad I can taste it.
