For those of you who want something with lower seat height but plenty of power, how about a Harley Davidson Sportster powered Cushman scooter. This little custom creation is for sale on eBay. According to the listing it was nicknamed the Hardley by the builder but I’m not sure if that is the person who currently has it listed. The 1200cc engine is from a 1991 Sportster.
From the photos, it looks surprisingly well put together. Not much of a long haul machine or anything for really serious riding but I bet it’s fun. Cool!

I rode one of this to high school everyday – a cushman that is, not one with a hinkley dinkeldorfer engine though. Gotta say this would be fun, absurd but fun

Great craftsmanship. Nice detail on the air cleaner.
Sure would have liked to have had this instead of my Allstate (Cushman Highlander). Saw an Eagle in Daytona some years ago with an Indian Scout engine.
A lot of the older riders will like this and projects like it!

I love projects like this, you know they started over a few beers and just got out of control. Now, has someone taken the Cushman engine and put it in a Harley frame?

first bike was a 47 cushman, sure didn’t look like that! lol, wish i had it back, sure was tough!

How awesome is that? Those are two things that I never would have considered putting together, but they seem right.

Looks as good as most of the other Harleys out there.

I’ve seen photos of a dual Cushman motored bike, it was a test bed for a dual motor Bonneville streamlined motorcycle. The Bonneville streamliner didn’t use Cushman motors đŸ™‚
I think it was the Vincent Streamliner Black Lightning, but memory could be failing me

Harley.. Cushman…
Shouldn’t that be a Hushman, or even a Hardman? woah, easy there!
