Down in the Engine Room – Updated

By Paul Crowe

Many of you are out and about this time of year, taking advantage of the weather and doing many things other than surfing the Interwebs. Finding the best time to work on the website is tricky, but this is usually a very good time of year for me to get down in the innards and swap out some old components and rebuild it into a smooth running machine.

I’ve been learning some new things and trying to implement them without blowing everything up, but if you notice anything unusual, and you hear some coarse language in the background, don’t worry, the IT department (that’s me), will have everything back to normal shortly. Sometimes you need a couple of days of uninterrupted time to really accomplish anything, so I’ll be off for just a bit. Back soon.

UPDATE: I’m still working in the background and making great progress so I’m going to keep at it. There are some pretty big changes coming if I can sort out a few more technical hurdles, and once those are cleared, The Kneeslider will offer you some exciting new capabilities. Stay tuned!

    Well-geez Paul!!
If you’d put a couple of younger hamsters in the spinning wheel, it might help.
Be sure to oil the wheel bearings, too. Maybe all of that squeaking isn’t hamster.
    But then, I should talk– I’m running a 12 yr-old Mac Quicksilver.

Make sure the valves are set properly; you know how noisy they can get!

Thank you for all your efforts on our behalf — Kneeslider is a great diversion from the day-to-day things we all must do.

You’ll have everything back to “normal”, you say?

What the heck is “normal”, Paul?

No, no …. don’t do it. Just be yourself, eh?

New capabilities? Sweet! You must mean free test rides, right?
Seriously, I’ve updated a site once, it’s rougher than it seems at the start. Good luck!
