Readers of The Kneeslider are familiar with Confederate Motorcycles. Some of you may not realize they are located in New Orleans, a short distance from the Superdome where water was high and rising the last we heard. As soon as we hear how they have fared in this disaster, we’ll let you know.

2 of my friends work at confederate. I can’t get in touch with either via phone but I did hear through a post on my blog this:
“Confederate collasped and Blake stayed in Mandeville, hope he`s O.K.”
