This classic bike auction looks like a nice one. It’s an estate sale for a fellow that just kept buying and collecting, he never seemed to sell anything. Over 130 great vintage and classic motorcycles just as he left them, lots of parts, too. There’s also old cars and tools, it’s the kind of auction that makes a guy hold on to his wallet so he doesn’t get carried away. Here’s a sample:
1969 Matchless G80CS, new, 56 miles; 1965 Cotton Cobra 250 Starmaker, new; 1974 Ducati 750GT, original, 2,353 miles; Vincent/BSA project; BSA ZB33 Gold Star; 12 BSA’S 1954-1972, 8 Triumph’s 1955-1975; Smith’s Motorwheel; Mustang Collection 1954-65, some almost new; Over 25 Ducati Singles, 125, 160, 250, 350, 450, many have less than 1000 miles; Over 10 Hodakas 1968-1978; 4 Nortons, Simplex, Husqvarna, Bultaco, Indian, Yamaha, Ward’s, BMW, Rokon, Cushman, Ossa, Jawa.
Like I said, a nice auction. It’s in Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 16th.
