2008 Kawasaki 250R Gets Redesigned

By Paul Crowe

The 2008 Kawasaki 250R has been redesigned and it looks good. The 250R makes a great entry level ride and it doesn't lack for performance either, plus it's the only 250cc sportbike for sale over here in the states. You get a 249cc DOHC parallel twin with a six speed transmission, great handling, high mileage and all for $3500. The little Ninja now looks a lot more like its … [Read more...]

2008 Kawasaki ZX-14 Gets More Power

By Paul Crowe

For the truly power hungry, Kawasaki is adding even more to their premier power monster, the 2008 ZX-14. From the Kawasaki press release: Every champion knows sustained dominance is only possible … [Read more...]

It looks like it should do very well in that platform but a lot of us will be interested to see what the motorcycles look like when those are introduced. Press release follows: Vento Motorcycles, U.S.A., a … [Read more...]

Piaggio MP3 500

By Paul Crowe

Piaggio will be introducing both the MP3 400 and MP3 500 in the U.S. for 2008. Piaggio dealers just met in Scottsdale, Arizona and they were told both scooters are on the way. According to the ScooterScoop, the MP3 500 will be a rebadged Gilera Fuoco 500. Although many current owners of the Piaggio MP3 report perfectly acceptable power with the 250, some have been waiting … [Read more...]

2008 Yamaha XT660Z Tenere

By Paul Crowe

Yamaha is introducing the XT660Z Tenere in Europe, an all purpose commuter, touring, adventure bike and it has a lot of potential. Will Yamaha bring the bike to the U.S.? There's no indication so far and I have to wonder if the U.S. market would support it. Judging from the comments on our post on the Kawasaki Versys, though, I'd say they should seriously consider it. Bikes … [Read more...]
