By Paul Crowe

You and your next motorcycle just got a little closer together. We've added a new section, "motorcycles for sale." We've pulled all of the listings from ebay motors together in one place so you can do a little shopping while you're here for the motorcycle news. Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Triumph, Harley Davidson, basically everything. We have a few more brands to add yet but when … [Read more...]

Yamaha has a New Vmax Survey

By Paul Crowe

It looks like Yamaha wants to know what you think, although I'll be sure to forward them all of the comments you've been leaving here at The Kneeslider, about the new Vmax. They have an online survey, though when I went there, the site was moving very slowly so you may or may not get right in. I guess a lot of the Vmax fans are trying to get in all at once. Ecosse promising two new motorcycles

By Paul Crowe

Ecosse Moto Works, makers of the Heretic, are set to introduce two new models, the X-4 and X-5, both powered by American V-twins. According to an article in Robb Report, the X-4 "recreates the KR759 Road Racer with a bad ass 1960s attitude" while the X-5 "is a radical 21st century transfiguration of the X-4." A couple of rough sketches give very vague indications of what the … [Read more...]

Now in a bit of off season intrigue, rumor has it that Camel is stepping in as the replacement. What's cool about this is the appearance, at least for a short while, on the Yamaha MotoGP media web site of the line … [Read more...]

No problem, HD will pick up your bike and send it to where you're going. All you need to do is ride. I think it's a neat idea. There are already a number of companies that will ship your bike around the … [Read more...]

Harley Davidson Police Bikes still going

By Paul Crowe

Just a quick update if you haven't been following the discussion on an earlier post, the HD police bike is still being produced. There was, however, one model, the Dyna Defender, that has been discontinued. I've never followed the different HD police models, in fact I didn't even know they had multiple models. I think there is only one Honda and BMW with different levels of … [Read more...]
