Buell Custom Bobber

By Paul Crowe

Attention Erik Buell, are you seeing this? Attention Harley Davidson, have a little room for new ideas in your design department? Twice in the past week this Buell custom look has come to our attention, this example, far more thought out and practical than the first one we highlighted a few days ago. In this example, the footpegs are under the rider where they should be to … [Read more...]

Ducati Powered Custom Choppers

By Paul Crowe

After our recent look at the Revelation Honda sport custom and a Buell sport chopper it seemed only right to go Italian and take a look at these Ducati powered choppers from 13 Choppers of Oceanside, Calilfornia. 13 Choppers has been around for a couple of years and received some attention when the choppers first appeared in a few shows and the motorcycle press picked them … [Read more...]

Buell Sport Chopper

By Paul Crowe

Here's another take on the Buell idea, a Buell Sport Chopper. The owner took a Buell XB9S Lightning, removed the front fork, wheel and brakes plus the rear swingarm and wheel along with the Buell engine and built himself a frame that turns it into a sport chopper. Blade Rod Honda Streetfighter

By Paul Crowe

Starting life as a fully faired Honda CBR900RR Fireblade, used as a stuntbike by Australian, Mark Boxer, this all black "Blade Rod" became a minimalist streetfighter that looks very cool and the best part is there was no exotic high tech work involved. Even better, as the series of photos on his website show, almost all of the work was done inside his apartment! There goes the … [Read more...]

Revelation – Honda Powered Sport Chopper

By Paul Crowe

At first glance you see a chopper of some sort, then you see an inline 4 cylinder engine. Instead of forward controls you have rearsets but you also see the extended front fork and chopper sized 300 rear tire. It's low and long but how many water cooled choppers have you seen lately? The riding position is actually more drag bike than chopper, so what exactly is this? This … [Read more...]

Alfa Romeo 2.5 liter V6 Harley

By Paul Crowe

The site says this is a 2.5 liter Alfa Romeo V6 in a Harley frame of some sort. It uses the Harley 4 speed transmission and is, check the photo, a kick start! No other details. I saw this on Jalopnik where they say it's from Australia but nothing on the site indicates that so who knows? Interesting alternative to the Boss Hoss. Italian Cars (scroll down the page) via … [Read more...]
