Honda CB750 Dragster

By Paul Crowe

If you don't think the Honda CB750 was a popular engine back in its day, here's an application you may not have seen before, I don't recall seeing anything like this myself. This is a dragster, one of three, built in California by Triple A Accessories, a company that used to make parts and accessories for Honda CB750s and other motorcycles. The body is aluminum, the engine is … [Read more...]

Brudeli 625L Tilting 3 Wheeler

By Paul Crowe

Brudeli Leanster 625L

Since the debut of the Piaggio MP3, tilting three wheelers are coming from everywhere these days and here's one that looks pretty nice. It's the Brudeli 625L from Brudeli Tech in Norway. Geir Brudeli got his degree in mechanical engineering and product development and began working on transmission and gearbox solutions for small cars. Always interested in motorcycles, he … [Read more...]

VW Multivan Motorcycle Transporter

By Paul Crowe

VW Commercial Vehicles makes the Multivan over in Europe which I don't believe is offered in the U.S. They just unveiled their Harley Davidson transporter version: The system is practical and very simple to use: two different Harley-Davidson transporter packages can be ordered when the customer orders a Multivan Comfortline. The system, for which Volkswagen Commercial … [Read more...]

Motorcycle Powered Street Ray

By Paul Crowe

H&P Trading in Plankstadt, Germany has created the new motorcycle powered Street-Ray. The Street-Ray is motivated by a 40hp 460cc, water cooled, single cylinder, fuel injected motorcycle engine. Transmission is a CVT with reverse gear. Martin Preuss, who founded Technop, a machine building company, was importing Chinese made quads, scooters and beach buggies. He didn't like … [Read more...]

Smartuki Rebuild Almost Complete

By Paul Crowe

Ever since introducing Smartuki in June of last year, it's been one of our most popular stories here at The Kneeslider. For those of you who have been following along, you'll know it was originally built over in England by Z Cars and Peter Bee who thought a 180hp Suzuki GSX-R1000 engine might be a good fit for the little Smart. He was right and he had quite a bit of fun with … [Read more...]

Quadrazuma by Lazareth

By Paul Crowe

Our favorite French custom builder, Ludovic Lazareth, has built another dazzler, the Quadrazuma. Custom street quads seem to be a favorite with some builders in other countries, the problem here in the U.S. is they're not street legal. But if they were, this one would be the way to go. The Quadrazuma is powered by a 120hp Yamaha GTS 1000 4 cylinder engine. Brakes are from … [Read more...]
