Motoczysz update and correction

By Paul Crowe

We received additional information today from Federico Cioni, President of Motoczysz, clarifying information in our recent post about developments there. It turns out the 600cc engine is being developed for a new, additional project and the 990cc C1 is still very much alive. You can read his comments at the end of the Motoczysz article here. … [Read more...]

Supercharged Porsche powered motorcycle

By Paul Crowe

Bud Burkey has been tinkering with bikes since back in the '60s, built a few over the years and learned a thing or two in the process. The Hit-Air jacket is manufactured in Japan, is available in a wide variety of styles and looks like one of those ideas someone should have come up with a long time ago. The jacket's internal airbag is inflated instantly … [Read more...]

By Paul Crowe

Confederate Motorcycles has announced on their website that production for the '06 Hellcat will resume on February 1st, 2006 and production for the '06 Wraith will begin on April 2nd, 2006. There is a photo of the New Orleans factory on their home page which shows what they have had to deal with. It wasn't the flood that did the damage but the wind caused the building to … [Read more...]
