Enertia Electric Motorcycle by Brammo Motorsports

By Paul Crowe

Electric motorcycles have been the province of backyard builders for many years and they've been getting a lot closer to everyday practicality with each attempt. Brammo Motorsports, the Oregon company responsible for the Ariel Atom here in the U.S., has introduced the Enertia electric motorcycle and it may very well be the first electric motorcycle that finds more than a very … [Read more...]

Indianapolis adds MotoGP to 2008 Schedule

By Paul Crowe

It looks like all of the recent talk of a second MotoGP race in the U.S. is about to be confirmed. According to Cycle News, the official announcement will be made on July 16th, but it seems the 2008 MotoGP schedule will now have a Sept. 14, 2008 date at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Opting for 30 pounds of batteries gives you 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds but only a … [Read more...]

The conversion is a twin track assembly that your motorcycle bolts into after removing the wheels and it looks like the chain is used to drive the tracks. The motorcycle tilts within the tracks which would give the front ski the ability … [Read more...]

NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Nationals

By Paul Crowe

We took a little time off this weekend to go to the NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio. Norwalk is now an NHRA track and the turnout was huge. Andrew Hines won Pro Stock motorcycle but all of the classes are great to watch. Without a doubt, Top Fuel and Funny Cars are unbelievable. There is so much brutal force and horsepower unleashed in those 4 second … [Read more...]
