Royal Enfield Musket – Update

By Paul Crowe

Some of you may have missed the new video Aniket made of his Royal Enfield Musket V-Twin, ... he added pipes. The little shorties worked during the shakedown runs but you really need to hear the sound of this twin with the long pipes to believe it. Sweet! They look good, too. Have I mentioned how much I like this project? UPDATE: Aniket sent in photos with the new exhaust … [Read more...]

Harley Davidson First Quarter 2009 Results

By Paul Crowe

Harley Davidson reported their 1st quarter results and they're not out of the woods yet. Another 300 to 400 production jobs will be eliminated as they continue to adjust production to stay in line with shipments. The Company still plans to ship between 264,000 and 273,000 Harley-Davidson motorcycles to dealers worldwide in 2009, less than last year but in line with earlier … [Read more...]

The result is a very nicely reworked Sportster with all of the power on tap that you would expect from a 1200cc V-Twin that's been properly built plus with the handling that comes from lighter … [Read more...]

Suzuki GSX-R Motocross Conversion

By Paul Crowe

Remember that Ducati Monster transformed into a dual sport, called Terra Mostro? It looks like you can do the same thing with an old Suzuki GSX-R 1100 if you're sufficiently motivated. All you need is a healthy mix of KTM and Ohlins suspension pieces, some engine mods that take the original 1100cc engine out to 1200cc, fab up some body parts and there you go, flying down the … [Read more...]

Twist the Throttle – Updated Schedule

By Paul Crowe

We wrote about Twist the Throttle before, but they had a little scheduling issue and all of the original dates were postponed. They're back on the road and the dates are listed below. The first show about Honda, was on April 6th, though it's being rerun a couple of times, Dylan Weiss sent me a note a few days late, seems he was running around across the pond and just caught … [Read more...]
