These sculptures are another example of scrap art that I find oddly fascinating. This fellow, Hubcap Creatures by Ptolemy, takes hubcaps found on the roadside and turns them into all sorts of creatures, lots of fish and aquatic life but some other stuff, too. A Connecticut caller to 911 trying to get help for an injured motorcyclist gets the response of "Yeah, too bad" and then they hang up! The call was routed to the State Police barracks and was answered by Trooper Robert Peasley.
