2 Wheel Tuesday No More

By Paul Crowe

2 Wheel TuesdayIn case you missed it, the motorcycle news and information show, 2 Wheel Tuesday with Greg White, airing on SpeedTV was on for the last time this week. Greg is going to be taking a cross country trip looking for great riding roads and reporting back with podcasts and videos, some to appear on his website and SpeedTV.

There had been some reports earlier that the show was replaced by the new “Super Bikes” which begins next week. Greg makes clear that is not the case. American Thunder will be moving into his old time slot and Super Bikes will be coming on later.

2 Wheel Tuesday was a very interesting show overall and Greg had a lot of interviews with racers and motorcycle industry notables plus late breaking motorcycle news. I enjoyed the show quite a bit. I wish Greg the best of luck in his new adventures.

I thought Greg was a terrible interviewer– Chain Reaction being the best (worst) example of the superficiality of his questions. HOWEVER, I tremendously enjoyed TWT and watched it every week. I do not look forward to its “replacement” show, “Super Bikes!” which, from the advance hype, appears to glorify illegal street racing, stunting, crashing, and police chases. Motorcyclists have a sufficiently bad reputation already; we don’t need to reinforce these negative stereotypes.

Best of luck to Greg White. By all accounts, he is a great guy.

Richard — totally agree with the replacement. Speed could be really screwing up big time.

Unbelievable! Speed always does stuff like this. They had an awesome show a while back called “Lap of the Gods” about old Formula One drivers going around some of the older tracks that they cancelled. Why do they always cancel the cool stuff? I guess they have to make more room for NASCAR interviews and 10 hours of pre and post race coverage.
