1974 Kenny Dreer Norton Commando VR 880

Suppose you bought a 70s era Norton Commando and wanted to do a very nice resto-mod, completely restoring the bike while upgrading components all along the way. Well, that’s what Kenny Dreer did when he built a series of these Norton Commando VR880s. They look great, run great and have a following all of their own, besides having the appeal of the Norton itself.

This particular 1974 VR880 is, according to the owner, completely original and he has all of the original paperwork to prove it. It has just 1139 miles so if you’ve ever thought of picking one of these up, this looks like a very nice example. If you plan to ride it, you’ll need new tires, at the very least and expect to spend some time giving it a thorough going over, to make sure everything is in top shape. Not many of these out there, so why not take a look?

It’s for sale on eBay right now. Listing has ended. Did not meet reserve. Bidding ended at $26,900.00.
