At motorcycle gatherings of most any sort, among the many motorcycles parked there you'll find for sale signs. These impromptu sellers are hoping someone walking by might see their sign, write down the info and later make an offer. At the annual AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, the many thousands of bikes parked there sprout for sale signs everywhere, but that's the problem, you may never see the perfect bike you would have bought on the spot because you weren't walking by some particular row. So why not corral all of these used bikes for sale in one place and make it easier and more convenient for everyone? That's the thinking of the AMA and this year they have the Used Bike Corral.
There is no pre-registration or fee for parking a bike in the AMA Used Bike Corral, although donations to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum are encouraged. Space is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. AMA members can put up to two bikes in the corral; non-members are allowed one bike.
The AMA Used Bike Corral will be located on the Mid-Ohio grounds where the auction was conducted in previous years. Anyone wishing to include his or her bike at the AMA Used Bike Corral should bring it to the infield location, fill out an information tag, and park it where instructed. Standardized for-sale information tags will be provided.
If you're looking for a used bike, this could be a nice option, especially since the physical selection is likely to be a lot more varied than most any place you'll see except for online. Don't wait too long to decide, it's coming up July 24-26. Oh heck, just go, it's a great time.

This looks like a lot of fun. I just read that the TTXGP bikes will also be racing on-track at the Vintage event. First time in the US. As strange as it seems, I’m excited to hear the silence of a full field of electric GP bikes streak by. Oh yeah, and all the vintage eye candy won’t be so bad either. Definitely worth the trip!
